Junee Shire Council has joined Services NSW and the Office of the NSW Business Commissioner in launching an online initiative aimed at promoting small businesses in rural communities.

The newly minted website is intended to provide a streamlined process to run through the various federal, state, and local government requirements associated with owning and operating a small business.
From July 30, the Easy To Do Business web portal will be trailed with local eateries and cafes, before being adapted to other industries over time.
“We understand the difficulty, hurdles and red tape that people go through just to get a business up and running,” said Junee Shire Mayor Neil Smith.
“We encourage anyone interested in owning a cafe, small bar, or restaurant to take advantage of this service.”
