It is understood the car rolled about one kilometre east of Park Lane, along Junee’s infamous ‘mad mile’.
The straight stretch of road running through the town has become known for its incidents, and is named for the burnout marks that stretch across it.
It is not yet known whether the latest incident was a result of poor visibility and wet roads following the weekend’s weather, or whether speed was a factor.
The two occupants did not become trapped in the overturned vehicle, managing to escape as the police and ambulance arrived.
They were treated at the scene for symptoms associated with cold exposure and were not transported to hospital.
A male pedestrian may also have become involved in the incident, aiding the occupants in their escape from the vehicle.
