A false fire alarm triggered emergency services to rush to the Prime Minister's Canberra home on Christmas Day.

About 10pm on Saturday, emergency services attended The Lodge after an automatic fire alarm was triggered.
An ACT Policing spokesperson said the incident lasted only about 20 minutes before being cleared.

He said Australian Federal Police's Protective Service Officers were in attendance with Emergency Services Agency crews.
The ACT Emergency Services Agency referred queries to police.
Chris Wallace on Twitter posted images and videos of the incident.
"Fire engine has just arrived at The Lodge, lights flashing," she wrote at 9.56pm.
Peter Murphy also tweeted: "Are the PM's pants on fire? He doesn't hold a hose, mate!"
A user responded with: "Wowza...he probably left the barbie on."
The Prime Minister is believed to have been in Sydney during Christmas.
