The state funding will allow the hall to be re-painted inside and out and new guttering will be installed.
George Brabin from the Junee Reefs Hall said the grant took a major fundraising burden off, with hall maintenance generally funded by hire fees and small donations.
"This is so important, the hall is a hub for our community for meetings and get-togethers and if we don't keep it up it won't be there in the future," Mr Brabin said.
The funding comes amid a wave of state-funded grants for upgrades to Junee community assets totaling nearly $80,000.
$20,000 was recently committed to the construction of new toilet facilities at the Junee Tennis Club, $23,204 will go to the showground for improved food preparation areas and a screen for the pavilion, and $13,483 will go to outdoor equipment for Junee Goodstart Early Learning.
