Inmates at Junee Correctional Centre worked hard to build a set of furniture, which was donated to Lawson House in 2017 for their new barbecue area.
Yet, earlier this year, the kind donation was stolen.
The poor luck for residents at the village was only brief, though, as the correctional centre inmates banded together to reproduce the missing furniture.

Junee Correctional Centre general manager Scott Brideoake said they were thrilled to be able to lend a hand.
"We are proud to assist Lawson House and were only too happy to replace what was taken," he said.
"It's very disappointing to think that someone would steal furniture from these residents."
