On March 10, the team travelled to Young to partake in the Country Cup.
The girls played well for a successful day of sport.
Junee won both of their games against Coolamon and Hennessy to qualify for the final.
The team then went down to Boorowa in the final to finish the day placed second.
Grace Fahy was awarded the players' player for the team for her strong performance across the day's games.
The tournament was one of the last opportunities for interschool sport in NSW, with extracurricular activities put on the back burner as schools manage the coronavirus outbreak.
At the time of print, local schools remained open with the NSW government encouraging parents to keep their children at home if they are able to do so.
Community sport across Junee has also taken a major hit, with local football, Australian Rules, rugby, bowls and basketball among the sports suspended or cancelled as part of social distancing measures.
