To complete the challenge, children had to show they had read at least 15 books, be it fact, fiction, picture or novel.
This year, a total of 13 children completed the reading challenge. Among the 13 participants were Phillipa Lashbrook, Harriet Lashbrook, Claire Fitzgerald and Issabella Anderson-Troy.
The Lashbrook siblings' mum Anna said her kids had always been keen readers, but this challenge "is a visual reminder of their achievement".
"Actually having the accountability of handing in a physical logbook really helps get them into that routine," she said.
"I heard kids can fall back four to six reading levels over holidays because they aren't keeping up that routine so this is a great way to keep them in touch with books."
