Residential land both within the centre of Junee and in surrounding villages has all seen an increase in value, reflected in the latest NSW Valuer General's report.

The report revealed a 23 per cent increase in overall residential land values in Junee over the past three years, with demand for larger lot residential land pushing values up 27 per cent over the same period.

Owner of Junee's RE/MAX Vision Jenna Pollard said the increase in value was reflective of a strong economy.

"There's a stronger market of industry on offer in Junee, so when you've got that really solid job security, it definitely helps bring people in which boosts the value of land," she said.

"There's also a lot of younger people coming back to where they grew up to build their own family homes."

The John Potts Estate development's success in land sales has also driven the strong land values over the past few years, Ms Pollard said.

"We sold 10 or 12 of those John Potts blocks in the first four hours they launched to market," she said.

"I think there's now 22 blocks in total and 19 have sold through RE/MAX so the demand is there and the market is strong."

The report also indicated land values of villages within the Junee Shire had seen an increase of 30 per cent over the three year period.

Mixed farming properties had the strongest growth in value of as much as 93 per cent from 2016 to 2019, while grazing land values rose by 43 per cent and hobby blocks saw an increase of 41 per cent.

Light industrial land values in the Junee Shire also increased by 25 per cent.

"A lot of people are considering Junee now, they have never done that before," Ms Pollard said.

"We have such a strong economy and a really progressive council.

"It's a really exciting time for Junee."
