To be held on January 25 and beginning at 11am, the all-day event has been the brainchild of Tearna Mitchell, Madison Quinn and Jodie Coote.
The idea came to the three women independently of each other, after seeing little activity promoting the work of firefighters on a local level.
"[Madison] and I are both nurses, and we've been hearing the call out for nurses to help in fire-affected areas," Ms Mitchell said.
"I've got two little ones at home and a partner who works shifts so it's just not practical, but we still wanted to do something."
With the help of the hotel's owners, manager and staff members, the event was fully organised within three days and has been given enormous support in the town's commercial sector.
"Every single business has donated something to our raffle," Ms Quinn said.
The support has meant that the team has already secured more than half of their total financial goal.
"It looks like we've got $3000 already and that's just from two donors," Ms Mitchell said.
"$5000 is our goal and we're looking at getting that. Anything over that is great and double would be amazing."
But aside from the financial support, the organisers hope the event will bring some well-needed enjoyment to the lives of those who have been on the front line of the region's unfolding bushfire catastrophe.
"We were feeling useless here thinking there's just nothing we can do to help. But Junee is a small town with a lot of heart, and we think this is the best way to give back," Ms Coote said.
The day's entertainment will include a number of Riverina-based bands, a jumping castle, bunjy run, velcro wall and mechanical bull competition. Mental health specialist Pat Lawson will also
Given the length of the event, the team hopes attendees will be attracted from far and wide - and have even offered room to pitch a tent or swag outside the hotel should the rooms be booked out.
