Margaret Kanaley and Matthew Glass have each dedicated two decades of their lives to serving the library and its patrons.
The pair were surprised with a morning tea celebration and decorative clock as a show of thanks for all their hard work.
Ms Kanaley said it was a pleasure to be able to work at the library.
"It was definitley a pleasant surprise with the celebration on Thursday," she said.
"It has been great to meet such a broad cross section of people over the years and get to know different people in the town."
In other news:
A big reader herself, Ms Kanaley said her part-time role at the library was not over.
"I have no plans on slowing down, I will keep it up as long as I can I think," she said.
Fellow librarian Matthew Glass has also become a familiar face to those borrowing books over the past 20 years.
"It's been good, I love working with the other staff here and you get to meet so many people," he said.
"One of my favourite things to do is cut out all the Junee related pages from The Daily Advertiser to archive them, I have heaps of folders full of stories."
Mr Glass has no plans on calling it quits either.
"I think I'll stick around for a while," he said.
It has been a year of milestones for the library, which also celebrated 20 years since leaving its original council building and 10 years in its main street location.
