The facility will target waste that cannot be disposed of in regular recycling or other bins, providing an option free of charge for the community.
The mobile recycling trailer will be visiting various locations in the Junee Shire for the first time as part of the region's Waste Education Program, including Wantabadgery and Eurongilly on December 10, Bethungra and Illabo of December 11, and Junee and Old Junee on Decemebr 12.
Junee Shire Council director of engineering, Cole Davis, said the facility aimed to promote better education of waste management.
"We're trying to do more on waste education for the community and show our commitment to recycling and encouraging a tidy town," he said.

Items such as household batteries, car batteries, gas bottles, fire extinguishers, paint, smoke detectors, fluorescent globes and tubes, and motor and other oils can be collected at the trailer.
"Usually this type of waste is taken to the main depot but this gives people easier access and gets the message out on the importance of proper recycling," Mr Davis said.
"It can be dangerous to dispose of this waste incorrectly, especially if things like gas bottles they get pushed up in landfill."
Mr Davis said it would be "really interesting to see what volume of waste we get" for the first collection. The education program has already seen free open days of the depot offered and vouchers given to residents to use the landfill facility.
The trailer will be outside Junee Ex-Services Memorial Club from 9.00am to 12.00pm next Thursday, and is expected to return annually.
