President and coach Noel Poynter said it was a slow start but he hoped it would pick up.
"It's starting to come together for the summer seasons, numbers are gradually growing," he said.
"We are always looking for new members though."
Poynter said the pre-Christmas period was to blame.
"We have about 30 or so at the moment, but in the past that number normally sits around 100 so we are a long way off," he said.
"But normally that picks up a bit after Christmas."
The club has their first carnival of the season on December 1, with clubs from Temora, Gundagai, Yass, Young, Tumut, West Wyalong and Cootamundra alongside Junee.
"It's really open to anyone who wants to come, there'll be a variety of 50, 100 and 200 metre events for all ages," Poynter said.
