Ladies of the Land was created by Elzette Connan and Tracey Potts, who have called on communities to donate boxes of goodies like tea, pamper items, and chocolate to send out to deserving women who normally put everyone else before themselves.
Junee Showgirl Sara Makeham has helped get the initiative going in Junee now, with a new drop off point set up at AGnVET on Lisgar Street.
"The purpose is to give items that can only be used by the receiver, so they can really treat themselves and feel special," she said.
"We really want to see the town get involved in this by donating a shoebox of goodies, or even just bits and pieces that can form part of a gift box."
Donations are being taken at AGnVET until December 6 before they are collected to be distributed across Australia and even overseas to England and the United States.
