Relatives and friends of the Junee man have been informed that his funeral will be held on Saturday, November 16.
A graveside service will take place in the Junee Cemetery commencing at 11:00am, followed by the Wake which will be held at the Wagga Wagga Boat Club, Lake Albert after the service.
"This is a public funeral and wake, so please come and join us in giving Dad the wonderful send off that he deserves and to share some good, fun memories afterwards with us," daughter Brittany Hackett said.
She remembered him as "loud, caring and loving."
"He loved all of his friends. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone."
