Junee Basketball Association president Steven Gentle said it was a fun day had by all.
"It was a really excellent day, everything went smoothly and we all had a lot of fun," he said.
"No ladders were really kept, just a basic score of each game so there wasn't that competitive pressure."
Junee sent six teams over to Temora.
U8 boys and U8 girls each came away with a win and a loss, while the U10 boys won two games and lost 1.
"We had three U12 boys teams who played a total of nine games, coming away with 7 wins, one loss and a draw," Gentle said.
With a good turnout, Gentle and the Junee Basketball Association hope to make the gala days a permanent part of the club, holding them once early on in March or April, and then again at the end of the year.
The club is hosting a meeting tonight at the Commercial Hotel to discuss next year's plan of attack, inviting parents, players and volunteers to pitch in their ideas for the Junior Program.
