Schubach will take charge of the Diesels for a second season armed with six new Fijian recruits that will bolster Junee's depth.
Junee has secured six accomplished Fijian footballers on three-year deals that will see them work and play in the town.
Fijian international Eddie Tagicakibau, who played at the 2017 World Cup, will be joined by Jone Sariri, Atueta Giuvalu, Bill Rakul, Seva Nabetelevu and Kiti Rasotale.
It will be the second taste of Group Nine for Tagicakibau and Rasotale after a previous stint with Tumbarumba.
Schubach, 25, hopes the new recruits can help propel the Diesels up the ladder next year.
"We didn't have a really good year last year, we struggled for numbers so I'm pretty keen and hoping to go bigger and better this year," Schubach said.
"I'm looking forward to the challenge."
On top of the signings, Junee has appointed Simon Vanzanten as assistant coach and airforce trainer Jaielin Miles as fitness instructor.
It was a tough season for Junee, who finished ninth, and ended with a state of play meeting to address dwindling numbers at both player and committee level.
One of Schubach's goals is to bring the Junee community closer together.
"Obviously to win games of footy is the main aim and I'm hoping we can play finals again next year," he said.
"My goal as a club is to get the town back on track, bring them together, and hopefully play finals football."
Junee plans to bring the community together for an event next month that will involve hometown legend Laurie Daley. While further details are to be finalised, the event will be a major fundraiser and coincide as the club's presentation.
On field, Junee intend on retaining the majority of this year's team.
Among the Fijian recruits are two front rowers, three outside backs and a five eighth or centre.
Five of the six recruits have represented Fiji Bati, the country's representative team without NRL and Super League players.
