Community Liaison Officer Nicholas Pyers said last week's meeting with the fund's program manager, Alli Mudford, cemented the town's commitment to their community, sporting and volunteer groups.
"Over 50 people attended that meeting, representing more than 60 different community groups," he said.
"Alli was thrilled with the representation we got, Junee is the only town to ask her to come for this part of the funding process."
The meeting saw eight people elected for a working committee to put together the final application for funding on behalf of the town.
