This year, particularly so as she readies to celebrate 30 years since she first unlocked the doors to her Humphrys Street floristry.
Each year she has also shared her birthday with that 1989 anniversary.
Over three decades at the helm of Country Meadows, it has been her privilege to be present in so many of the town's greatest joys and deepest sorrows.
"The people are important to me, they're mostly repeat customers and I've shared in all their celebrations and a lot of their sadness," Ms Vincent said.
"There are more funerals than anything else, but when there's a birthday every week, and when the weddings come around it's really special."
Ms Vincent can map the development of the town by the seasonal changes in floristry styles. With each new year, she said, comes a new design to keep her practice fresh.
"The trends come and go, when we first started out, we used baby'd breath in everything, then we didn't touch it for years, and now it's back," she said.
"Gerberas used to be huge, now not so much. Natives were all the rage 30 years ago and they're making a comeback again."
With each resurgence of previous styles and trends, Ms Vincent is reminded of her personal success in keeping a business alive so long.
"I didn't ever think I'd be doing this for so long, but I've just kept going and going and going, and now it's 30 years later, and I'm still here," she said.
Her clients and floral creations aside, there is another aspect of the job that has kept Ms Vincent's passion thriving through the years.
"The thing I love most is doing up the windows, passersby seem to like that too," she said.
"It changes with the celebrations throughout the years, but Christmas is always something special here. I change it into something new every year when Mother's Day, Valentine's Day or Spring arrives."
