Leasa Toll was voted in as president for the second year in a row.
"I got involved only four days before the festival last year so it was a really stressful time," she said.
"I wanted to give someone else the opportunity to go for it this time so I didn't initially re-nominate myself, but I'm thrilled that I got in."
After a year of having the event's future on the rocks, Ms Toll said she was releaved to now have a set date as well as more time to prepare.
"It is great to have more time this year, but hats off to the previous committee, they did an amazing job and unfortunately we couldn't get it together for this year but with fresh faces, we're ready to go and really start planning and defeating tasks," she said.
"I'm really pumped."
New members were also welcomed to the team, including Margaret Cutler who was named vice president, and Kate Hinds filling the position of secretary.
John Hunter, and Helen and Harry Simpson were also welcomed as ordinary members.
The next Rhythm n Rail Festival will be held over the weekend of May 8-10, 2020 as opposed to the usual March scheduling.
The decision to change the date was a result of avoiding the heat, as well as missing Daylight Savings to ensure the event has a true, evening atmosphere.
