Jack Henderson and Bryce Wattie, both just 10 years old, were awarded the Grey Wolf Award - an accolade Cub Leader Jackie Starr said was to be commended.
"It's a big effort to get to this stage," she said.
"The process usually takes about a year, you have to get four level two badges, a special interest badge, gold boomerang badge, and also run a game here at the club as well as leading a two hour hike."
Jack Henderson, who has been a cub for three years, said being awarded such a high honour was just an added bonus to the skills learned through the club.
"There's a whole lot of adventures we do, we learn about fires and evacuation, so serious life skills but also it's just so much fun," he said.
Mrs Starr said the process of getting from day one in cub scouts to the level these boys were at was inspiring.
"It is incredible to see how their leadership skills grow, it really is amazing, and it's all about developing important life skills while at the same time having fun and making friends and getting involved in the community," she said.
