A man from Tumut charged with 40 offences relating to intimidation and contravening an apprehended violence order has been sentenced.

Brett Raymond Pearce, 43, was sentenced at Young Local Court last week on 20 intimidation and 20 contravene apprehended violence order charges, and one possess drug charge.
The offences were committed through phone calls Pearce made while in Junee Correctional Facility.
All calls in prison are recorded and may be monitored, the court heard.
The victim contacted police and a search warrant in relation to obtaining the calls was granted.
Police identified 128 calls made between December 4, 2018 and January 28, 2019.
On March 29 this year, while attending the probation and parole office at Tumut, Pearce was arrested and conveyed to Tumut Police Station.
He was searched and found with a bag containing .4g of methylamphetamine.
