Two decades on from the library leaving the council building in 1999, the building now celebrates 10 years in its main street location.
For librarian Margaret Kanaley, watching the library change with the times has been an interesting journey.
"I started out as a casual worker in 1998, just as the library was getting ready to leave the council building," she said.
Ms Kanaley said there were changes to be seen both socially and technologically.
"There's a lot more digital borrowing now, and you can even borrow things like baking trays, toys and games," she said.
"The collection has certainly changed too.
"There's quite a few regulars that continue to come over the years but also a lot of new people joining which is great, last week I had about 12 join up."
Always a passionate reader, Ms Kanaley said convenience was also a factor in her career path.
"It was a good time for me with my children going off to school and to get back into the workforce," she said.
"But being able to talk to people and meet and meet new people is great."
Matthew Glass is another librarian in Junee who this October celebrates 20 years surrounded by stories.
"I'm an expert on the Solar system, so books on that are always great to tell people about," he said.
"It's changed a bit here though, we were over at the council and then moved to Denison Street to the old institute hall, and now we're here on the main street which used to be the IGA."
