It will be the blessing of lady luck that brings champion reinsman Bruce Harpley to the top three in this week's Riverina Paceway heats.

Come twilight Friday, the Junee driver will race Sokys Falcon and Jimmy Beach in the gelding division, and Geraldton Wax for the fillies.
But, Harpley says the draw has not looked favourably on his chances in the geldings.
Sokys Falcon will run from barrier six, and Jimmy Beach sets out from barrier seven.
"The three go good, but the draws aren't ideal for the geldings," he said.
"It's a bit wide, and will need a bit of luck but they're in a good mindset so they can get there."
Years of experience in the harness has taught Harpley even with the setback of a draw, a lot can change on the night when the horses hit the 165-metre home straight.
"You always need a bit of luck, you can't do much without it," he said.
"I think there's a lot of luck for every race."
In the fillies, Geraldton Wax will run from the fourth barrier, increasing Harpley's hopes for a top place position, especially given her performance in Leeton a week ago.
"I expect she'll go good, she certainly did in Leeton last Tuesday," he said.
For each of the heats in Wagga on Friday, they're in for a chance to pocket $10,000 if they can manage to be one of the first three to cross the finish line.
They will also qualify for a run in the $50,000 prize Riverina Paceway final on August 4.
A total of 12 separate races, including the regional Breeders Challenge, heats for two- and three-year-olds, will be held at Wagga on Friday.
It will be the first evening race meeting to be conducted under lights, after the install of the multimillion-dollar system earlier this year.
Previously, Wagga's Harness Racing Club had hosted raceway meetings during the day or moved its night events to the former Showgrounds circuit.
The regional challenge will form the prelude to the regular race meeting this week.
Club races will commence from 4pm, continuing through the final of the 12 races at 9.45pm.
It also follows confirmation that Wagga will host next year's $1 million feature race qualifier on May 27, 2020.
Leeton, Young and Wagga will all hold heats of the NSW $1 Million Pace, which culminates at Menangle next May.
Heats, restricted to horses trained in the Riverina, will be run at the three venues on May 8, 12 and 15 respectively before Wagga hosts the region's qualifier on May 27.
Eligible horses must be four years old or older and bred in Australia with a national rating up to 70.
