For three consecutive years under her direction, the Junee Lions Club have answered the call of St Vincent de Paul's winter appeal.
On Tuesday, Ms Cocks delivered $500 worth of fleece blankets and winter bedding to St Vincent de Paul's in Junee.
"We're grateful to the community for helping us to [fundraise] through our paper drive, so we like to use that money to give back to the community," Ms Cocks said.
On the final Sunday of each month, the Lions Club collects kerbside cardboard and paper waste which is then recycled and turned into charitable donations.
"Without that, we would be able to do what we do," Ms Cocks said.
"We're all about serving the community, as our motto goes 'We serve'."
John Reeves, president of the local arm of St Vincent de Paul took delivery of the winter warmth on Tuesday, and indicated his enormous appreciation for the club's support.
"The blankets will go to people in town who need help," Mr Reeves said.
"We get [people] in all the time for a whole lot of different circumstances they didn't expect, but it is worse in winter.
"One lady came in and it was actually her kids, they were suffering from the cold so we were able to help her out and keep them warm."
From July 1, Ms Cocks will make way for the new president of the Lions Club, John Hillam.
