Seary has been selected to represent Southwest and Riverina in the Rising Stars series next week.
It kicks off at Menangle on Monday before races at Bathurst, Penrith and Newcastle leading into the final as part of NSW Breeders Challenge Day at Menangle next Sunday.
The 19-year-old is looking forward to taking part.
"It's a big thrill and I didn't really expect it but it is good to get selected," Seary said.
"It should be a good week.
"There is none in the Riverina this year, which is unfortunate, so I'll have to get used different areas."
But first he's looking for success at Riverina Paceway on Friday.
Seary has five drives for five different trainers.
He's pleased to have such a variety of support.
"I'm getting plenty of drives of plenty of people so hopefully it keeps going on and that I keep them happy," Seary said.
He rate last-start winner Slick Blaster as the best of his chances in the two-year-old race.
However Seary isn't thrilled with drawing the inside of the second row.
"He's drawn the only spot I didn't want him to draw but hopefully he still goes good," he said.
"He went good at Leeton when he won."
Seary is joined in the Rising Stars series by Young's Blake Micallef.
Former Boorowa driver Codi Rauchenberger is also taking part.
