Police have now made contact with Kevin Moorehead after he went missing in Tumut overnight.
EARLY:
Police have issued an appeal to the public following the rise in concerns for 61-year-old Tumut man Kevin Moorehead.
Mr Moorehead has been missing since Tuesday afternoon.
He was last seen in Tumut, wearing a blue long sleeve flannelette shirt with blue jeans.
It is believed he could be travelling in the Tumut and Talbingo area in a white 2003 Toyota Hilux single cab chassis with a white steel tray.
Police have circulated an image of the vehicle, which appears to have NSW registration plates reading AK 04 MM.
Police hold serious concerns for the welfare of Mr Moorehead.
