Plagued by injuries, the team has been forced to the field without subs several times.
Since the season began in early April, three players have become exiled to the sideline with play-preventing injuries.
Combined with a series of loses, it's landed Junee third from last, at seventh on the Gardiner Sheild leaderboard.
Having taken over leadership this year, coach Jason Hill said he has been encouraged to see strong improvements in training.
"We're keeping positive," said Hill.
"The boys are keen [for the weekend], we've implemented new training.
"They're playing well as a team.
"We're focusing on orientation as a team, rather than individuals' abilities to run the field and score loads.
"We're working hard and enjoying it, even if we're not getting the game results just yet."
The Jaguars will take on Leeton United at Byrnes Park from 1pm on Saturday, with the women's team also entering their first home game from 11am.
"It's been a tough year, and we're looking to get some good crowds down there for support," Hill said.
"Our toughest task will be challenging Leeton. They're sitting second, and they're a very strong team.
"We might be struggling to get the player numbers this year.
"But we're looking to make up for it with a good group of spectators to cheer us on."
