The losses were felt against Albury on their homeground, and Young at Laurie Daley Oval.
"The teams were just really, really good," said captain Petria Moncada.
"We missed a lot of tags, but it wasn't a matter of fitness. It was just hard to get them off. Harder than usual, but I would say ours would be the same.
"At one point, I was hanging off a girl's shorts, trying to pull [the tag] free, it was that hard."
Ahead of this weekend's clash with the Wagga Kangaroos, the team will be focusing on tagging maneouvres.
"They do have a good side, so I'm not sure we'll have a win, but really you never know," Moncada said.
The losses however have caused greater collegiality in the 11-player side.
"It's nice to have a team that doesn't get hung up on the scores," Moncada said.
"We don't get angry or mad with each other.
"We take the loss, we move on and that's so important because if we did get mad, we wouldn't have a team anymore.
"Teamwork was strong, the girls do dig deep."
The ladies have struggled to keep their numbers up heading into this year's competition, and at times face the field with a few less players.
"We are so grateful we have a team, especially since the 17s had to fold," Moncada said.
"It's sometimes a struggle when travelling [because] some of the girls have to work so they can't make it."
