A member of Junee's famed Pink Ladies, Ms Heard's efforts will launch this year's 'pink push'. Since forming 16 years ago, the team has raised $85,000 for the Cancer Council.
Owing to the contributions of Luke Duncan, who last year shaved his beard and dreadlocks for the charity, the Pink Ladies managed to raise a little over $10,000 in 2018.
This year, they are hoping to raise that figure even further, with much of the funds expected to come through Ms Heard's August haircut.
Preparations are also underway for the the annual Girls Night In, which this year will likely be moved forward to coincide with Ms Heard's haircut.
