Last year's finalists have won just once this season, in round one against still winless Cootamundra, but after a good first half showing against unbeaten Albury Schubach is confident the results will come.
They led the Thunder late in the first half at Greenfield Park before falling away to a 38-12 loss.
"We are pretty confident we can match it with all the better sides once we have a full-strength team," Schubach said.
"It's just getting everyone back, on the same boat and building a bit of momentum.
"It's not the end of the world losing the last few games but we need to start winning games pretty soon otherwise it will be beyond our reach."
Tom Brandon, Dakota Ruta and Shawn-ray Pafalani all come back into the side to play Young at Laurie Daley Oval on Saturday.
Hayden Diggins and Matt Hands are also expected to make their returns through reserve grade against the 'Pickers.
