A record amount of voters ventured to the library for pre-polling in the lead up to the state election in March, and its proximity has caused confusion for the next election.
"Pre-polling is not actually available in Junee for the federal election," said a staff member.
"There are places in Cootamundra and in Wagga where you can go to vote early, but you will have to check on the [Australian Electoral Commission] website to find out which is your closest centre."
Junee sits in the electoral division of Riverina, which extends from Cowra to Tumut.
In Wagga, prepoll voting can be done at 182a Baylis Street, formerly the site of the Ed Harry menswear store.
There are four candidates running in the seat of Riverina, which is currently held by the Deputy Prime Minister and leader of The Nationals, Michael McCormack. Challengers are Labor's Mark Jeffreson, The Greens' Michael Bayles and Richard Foley from the United Australia Party.
Member for Riverina Michael McCormack has stuck to a deal struck by the Coalition and directed his preferences to the United Australia Party's Riverina candidate Richard Foley.
The Nationals' leader and Deputy Prime Minister has Labor's Mark Jeffreson in the third position, with The Greens' Michael Bayles in last position.
Mr Foley said he would also be honouring the deal and giving the number two spot on his how-to-vote to Mr McCormack, with Mr Jeffreson in third and Mr Bayles last.
Mr Jeffreson's how-to-vote card has the number two spot going to Mr Bayles, with Mr Foley in third and Mr McCormack last.
Mr Bayles has Mr Jeffreson in second position, Mr Foley third and Mr McCormack in the last spot.
Voting centres in Cootamundra, Cowra, Forbes, Parkes, West Wyalong and Young will open on May 11.
