In the first women's rugby league Country Championship, the Riverina Bulls made their mark taking out top spot in Saturday's Grand Final with a lead of 28-14.

The girls did Junee proud, home to vice-captain Emma Hickey, and players Ivy Merlehan and Elise Smith. Smith said the win was nothing short of invigorating.
"It was absolutely amazing, all our hard work put in payed off, and to do it with girls too - we've all become family," she said.
"We just went in expecting to do our best, but to take out the first country championship is so incredible."
The young footy star said the competition was tough, leading the Bulls by about 6 at half time.
While the championship is over, Smith said she was looking forward to trialing for next year.
"There are a few days to try out again and lots of different stages, so we're not guaranteed to get the same team or even get through again myself, but fingers crossed," she said.
"It would be awesome to play with the same girls, but so many new girls will be trying out so it will be interesting to see and I'm just thankful I got to play such an incredible first season."
