Roll One Over backed up his strong cup form with an all-the-way win in the last of 10 races on Friday.
After being handed plenty of back row draws, the Junee horseman was impressed by how he responded to a much kinder draw.
"He's been going good and in Jordy's last couple of drives he's been super from the back line," Harpley said.
"Drawn good it was going to be a bit of a test to see how he went in front but he seems to be a different horse in his last five or six runs.
"He's really wanting to do it now.
"We knew he could, but we just didn't get him to do it even though he'd run a couple of thirds in cups."
Harpley is now targetting the West Wyalong Cup later this month.
Meanwhile Feelgood Feeling is out to win an elusive HRNSW Rewards Series final next week after winning another heat.
"This is the third final she's made and has run third and fourth in the other two plus won a heat and run second in the other heat," Harpley said.
"It's her last one as you can't win more than two heats anyway but that was the best she's gone for sure.
"I've been trying to drive her like a normal horse but she's bit one paced.
"She wanted to bowl today so I let her bowl and it kinda suited her.
"She went pretty good actually."
