A 19-year-old has been charged and placed under arrest after an attack at a home in George Street at the weekend.

During the early hours of Saturday morning, police attended a residential address after reports of a disturbance, following a party on William Street.
"A number of males have forcefully entered a house, effectively conducting a home invasion and seriously assaulting a 41-year-old male at that residence," said Riverina Police District's Inspector John Aichinger.
Inspector Aichinger said five children, all under the age of 12, were home at the time of the invasion.
"It's a frightening event for any family. Quite a terrifying string of events for those children."
One ambulance crew was dispatched to the location at just after 1am.
Paramedics treated two individuals, one who had received a cut to the eye and another, aged in his 20s, who sustained a cut to the hand.
One of the victims was transported by road to Wagga Base Hospital for treatment of facial wounds and possible fractures. Ambulances arrived at the hospital by 1:40am, and the victim soon underwent surgery.
On Tuesday morning, the 19-year-old fronted police where he was placed under arrest. He has been charged with grievous bodily harm, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, aggravated break and enter, committing a serious indictable offence, and affray.
He has been granted conditional bail to appear before Junee Local Court in May.
Another man, aged 23, was in custody at the time of publication.
Furthermore, on Tuesday night, a vehicle owned by the victims was burnt out at the same location. Police will continue to investigate any connection.
