Last night, the 42-year-old member for Cootamundra secured a 76.4 per cent majority, over Country Labor's Mark Douglass, who ended with 23.6 per cent of the overall vote.
The final tally represented an overall six per cent swing towards the government.
The Nationals also claimed the top poll for first preferences, with Ms Cooke taking up more than 60 per cent.
Issuing a message of thanks to her community today, Ms Cooke wrote:
"All I can say is: thank you!"
[...]
"I promise to uphold the honour bestowed upon me by the community and represent the Cootamundra electorate in NSW Parliament to the absolute best of my ability.
"There is still so much more work to be done for all of the communities in the Cootamundra electorate and I am looking forward to getting back out on the road and meeting up with as many people as I possibly can."
Returning to work today, Ms Cooke attended an all-ages netball carnival in her home of Young.
After taking to the office at the October 2017 by-election, this latest victory leads Ms Cooke to begin her first full term in the seat.
