Junee's Acting Inspector Gerard Horsley said the week had proved "relatively quiet crime-wise".
"Plenty of proactive patrols have been conducted in the form of rural patrols, business inspections, licensed premises inspections, and school inspections," said Acting Inspector Horsley.
"Hopefully with the good work of local police the trend continues."
Break in
In the early hours of Sunday morning, police allege, an unknown amount of people attempted to gain entry into the rear yard of a Temora property.
The intruders made attempts to access two parked vehicles at the address in Aurora Street.
Police are currently seeking information that will lead to the location and identity of the offenders.
Rural theft
Police are investigating the possible theft of 200 Merino ewes from a Eurongilly property.
The alleged crime was reported on Thursday, but the theft is believed to have taken place between early February and early March.
Acting Inspector Horsley has made an appeal to the public to remain vigilant around rural areas, and to report any suspicious behaviour in a timely manner.
If anyone has any information pertaining to the theft of the Eurongilly ewes, contact Junee police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
