Members of Junee's Rotary club will undertake the 55km journey to Coolamon on March 10, as the riders reach the middle of their month-long 1600km trip.
"The teams will start in Griffith on March 4 and end up back in Griffith on March 29, but to the best of my knowledge there are no riders that are doing the entire journey," Junee president Trish Davies said.
"Instead it'll be shared by all the different Rotary clubs in the region. Local people will start the ride in their own town and then go on to the next town."
As riders come through, spectators will be encouraged to make a donation to the End Polio Now campaign.
The relay is open to pushbikes and motorcyclists, with volunteers now being sought.
Anyone looking to enter the event should contact Trish Davies on 0413 760 606 ahead of March 4.
