The cubs and scouts took part in the Australia Day ceremony with Madeline Kemp, a scout, and Jack Henderson, a cub, raising and lowering the flag.
The scouts started the year with some very excited scouts attending the Jamboree at Tailem bend. They are now making plans for the gumi festival and the regional raft regatta.
We will also be holding a group camp at Bethungra at the end of March.
The cubs also headed off on their big trip to Murray Bridge which included a day at Murray Bridge pool and water park and a visit to see the scouts at the Jamboree.
The cubs will be heading to Cootamundra in two weeks to take part in the regional swimming carnival.
The cubs welcomed two new leaders this year Mel Tovey (Quill) and Nick Barker (Baloo), from 1st Toongabbie cub pack.
They are both experienced leaders and Junee cubs are so lucky they choose Junee to settle.
