A man has been charged with high-range drink driving after allegedly almost causing a collision with police in Temora on Saturday.

The incident occurred about 10.40pm as Ariah Park and Temora Police were conducting patrols of Hoskins Street.
“While police were in the roundabout at the intersection of Victoria Street, a motor vehicle pulled out in front of the police vehicle, causing police to harshly brake to avoid a collision,” police said in a statement.
A short time later, the vehicle was stopped and the man was subjected to a roadside breath test, which returned a positive result.
His licence was suspended on the spot by police.
He was taken to Temora Police Station where he returned an breath analysis reading of 0.150.
