Bruce Harpley’s ambitions of finally training a Junee Pacers Cup winner have been buoyed by Roll One Over taking out his heat on Saturday night.

Roll One Over put in a tough effort to qualify for Sunday’s final.
Sitting without cover, Roll One Over ($8.50) still have enough left in reserve to climb the hill one more time and held off a fast-finishing Moreau Drive ($41) by a half head.
Harpley was pleased with his effort and believes he’ll be right there in the final.
“He’s a genuine chance,” Harpley said.
Roll One Over was an unlucky third behind Rocking in a slowly run feature last season.
Harpley believes he’s in much better form heading into the cup this time around.
“He’s definitely work a lot better,” he said.
“He was good when Cameron (Maggs) had him but I don’t know if I had him going that good last year.
“He’s definitely going better this season than what I had him last season.
“He looks the part, his attitude isn’t too bad so he can win it with the right run.”
He’s hoping it’s enough to claim his hometown feature after being placed in three of the last four runnings.
Roll One Over was coming off a win at Albury on New Year’s Eve.
He should be better for the run and now the Junee trainer-driver is looking for a good draw when the fields are released on Wednesday.
Harpley finished fourth in the other two cup heats and has had this horse in mind for another cup tilt still last year’s effort.
“His owner Lance (Cobban) bought him looking to win a country cup,” he said.
“We’ve tried to target them and target this race.
“It’s been three weeks since his run at Albury.”
The resuming Rubies For Tash couldn’t run down Sydney visitor Dance For Glory.
Former Ganmain trainer KerryAnn Turner returned to the region for success with her Blayney Cup winner proving too strong.
The $1.65 favourite ran down leader Schouten Island ($13) to win by 2.9 metres.
Coming around the field to sit without cover, the five-year-old run the fastest time of the three heat winners.
He clocked a mile rate of 2:00.2.
Call Me Hector led all the way to take out the third heat for Victorian trainer David Jack.
Harpley picked up the drive on Most Delightful for Gary Mossman.
He was still pleased with Rubies For Tash’s run as he heads into the consolation as part of Carnival of Cups night.
“I’m happy with her,” he said. “There was nothing you could do with the way it was run and she sprinted home quick.”
He also tasted success with stable newcomer Indiana Angel taking out the first of three Milbrae Quarries heats.
