
Nominations are now open for a community committee to consult on the next phase of the Inland Rail project.
The 37-kilometre Stockinbingal to Illabo sub-project is expected to effect three key sites in Junee, including the Kemp Street Bridge.
Committee members will be expected to attend quarterly meetings, beginning early next year.

“The input from the committee will be considered as part of this formal assessment process and my message to them is if you want to play a part in representing your community and giving them a voice on what’s happening with Inland Rail locally here’s the chance to do so,” said committee chair Garry West.
“I’m looking forward to working with the appointed community representatives, as well as stakeholders like local councils, farmer representatives and the ARTC.”
Nominations must be made before February 1 via inlandrail.artc.com.au.
