The Junior Summer Soccer is proving to be as popular as ever with around 60 children playing and displaying some great football skills.
Man United accounted for PSG 7-4 with Xavier Wall netting a hat-trick and Grace Holaj and Ryan Schultz scoring a brace each. Isac Chisolm, Emerson Gill and Xavier Wall scored for PSG. There were some great skills shown in both attack and defence.
Ajax scored a solid win over Atletico 6-3 with Lachlan Phillips scoring a hat-trick, Tom Collons-Mcalister a brace and Seth Wooden scored the other. Torah Newman scored a brace and Blake Fitzgibbins scored the other. Good fast game with end to end action and the score is not an indication of how close the teams were.
In the MiniRoos, Juventus accounted for Socceroos 5-3 with Zach Shaw scoring a brace, supported by Zach Green, Bodhi Thelan and Nate Wooden. Kaden Shaw scored for his team and Jack Walker scored the other. Good fast game from both teams that tested each out.
Roar accounted for Real Junee with 16 goals scored in the match, 11-5. Cameron Riley notched a double hat-trick with 6, while Keegan Newman hit a hat-trick and Fabian Wall a brace. John Dargin and Lachlan Fitzgibbins scored a brace each while Sophie Baldock hit one. While it was a big score, Real played well and had lots of chances but just couldn’t convert them.
In the Rooball, there was a draw between Glory/Victory and Mariners/Wanders with both teams scoring two goals each. Lucia Wall scored a brace for Glory/Victory whsile Nathan Schultz scored a brace for Mariners/Wanderers.
