Stallions were looking to bounce back after losing their past three games and were in danger of dropping out of the top four.

Stallions lost the toss and Wyangle chose to bat first.

Stallions, struck early through Daniel Foley, before a solid partnership from Dave Shedden and Matt Stubbs from Wyangle seen them battle to 1-56 at the drink break.

Stallions knew they had to keep the pressure on in the field as Wyangle would come out looking to score quickly.

Stallions’ Nathan Charlton bowled tightly and the visitors struggled with the leg spinner as he finished his spell, testing through the Wyangle batting order finishing with 4-13 from 10 overs.

He was backed up by Stephen Turk and Isaac Cooper as the Stallions bowled the visitors out for a total of 90 runs.

Stallions went to the crease with plenty of positivity in Trent Charlton and Tony Reece.

The pair looked confident as the runs began to flow before Reece was run out in the 12th over.

With the score at 38 the Stallions could not afford a collapse as Mick Butler joined Charlton at the crease.

Charlton and Butler made scoring look easy as they got to the break at 1-69.

The duo returned to the crease and looked to finish it quickly before Charlton departed for 39 and with eight runs left to score.

Butler was joined by Nathan Charlton and the pair glided past the Wyangle total in the 27th over.

The win means that the Stallions now jump Wyangle to sit second on the Elders Cup ladder which is a massive boost for Junee with the Christmas break fast approaching.

Junee will now face-off against Adelong this weekend at Burns Park.
