A luxury car reported stolen four years ago and almost 100 sheep have been found by police near Junee.
Police executed a search warrant on a property on Mees Lane, Wantiool, on Wednesday morning and found the sheep, which could be worth as much as $30,000, and a 2010 Mercedes Benz that had been reported stolen in 2014.
Inspector Rob Vergano is now calling for anyone with information to come forward as police begin a forensic examination of the Mercedes Benz.
He said the sheep were also being held securely.
No arrests have as yet been made and police inquiries were continuing, Inspector Vergano said.
Officers from the rural crime teams in Riverina, Murray River and Murrumbidgee police districts had begun an investigation after information was received about the possible location of stolen goods, he said.
