The Illabo Show committee is gearing up for another great show on Saturday October 13. There will be great amusements again this year, where you can ride all day for $35.
This is the 18th year the largest Prime Lamb Hoof and Hook Competition in NSW will be held with more than 500 of the best lambs in the area competing.
There will also be a high school section in conjunction with the competition. Please book pens of 10 lambs with Leanne Belling on 0428 245 468.
The hook competition will be held this year with lambs being sent to Goulburn Abattoirs. The lamb dinner will also be held again this year on Friday October 19 at the Illabo Showgrounds.
The cost is $40 per head for a three-course meal. Contact Leanne Belling on 0428 245 468 for bookings.
There will be the usual young auctioneers competition with the winner possibly being able to compete at the Sydney Royal.
The very popular yard dog trials will be conducted during the day, as well as the usual ring events, championship dog show, bushman’s relay and football passing competition for the children, and the animal nursery.
This year, Mr Magic will be performing for the kids. This entertainment is proudly sponsored by Australian Rail Track Corporation.
