Junee captain Will McGrath won the toss and elected to bat. Stallions got off to a flying start smashing nine from the first over. Junee the lost opener Brad Nicoll and Mick Butler soon followed to have them reeling at two for 24 after four overs. Joe Crowder then partnered Trent Charlton at the crease and looked in good form early with both batsmen reaching 50 and seeing the stallions at two for 114 at the drinks break. Adelong came out after the break confident and it showed as they picked up five quick wickets starting with Crowder (50) to put Junee on the back foot again. Opener Trent Charlton showed a steady head after giving a few early chances and with a late partnership with Stephen Turk seen Junee push past the 200 mark. Charlton fell in the 30th over notching up his highest career score of 135 before being caught out. Junee shortly finished off their innings just short of the 40 over mark finishing with a massive 244 on the board.

Junee then took their place in the field and were hoping a few early wickets would fall to keep them on top. Adelong Opener Joe Hardwick took to the bowling early smashing a quick fire 35 before Nathan Charlton cleaned bowled him starting a mini collapse in the Adelong order. Junee were then reduced to 9 fielders as Joe Crowder copped a nasty caught and bowled chance which lead to him having withdraw from the game. McGrath then reintroduced brother Trent Charlton from the other end just before the break to tighten the Adelong innings leaving them at six for 88 at the drinks break. Stallions then returned to the field and Nathan Charlton wiped out the remaining Adelong batsmen in just four overs all out for 98. Nathan Charlton finishing with figures of six for 36 off his 7 overs.
