Junee police continues to call for information and witnesses after a number of suspicious drone activities were reported during the past week.

Police Inspector David Dechene said the there were two reported incidents on Sunday, October 7.
“There was one around Illabo at about 12.50am,” Inspector Dechene said.
“A resident on Old Sydney Road was awoken by what they thought was an aircraft and they noticed a drone circling their premise.”
At around 5am on the same day, there was another report about a drone in the same vicinity.
“A drone was cited at about 5am by a witness travelling along Snapes Lane [Illabo],” Inspector Dechene said.
“That witness stated that he believed drones were circling sheep in a paddock.”
On October 2–3, police also received reports about suspicious drone activities around properties in the Marinna area.
Inspector Dechene encouraged residents to continue reporting suspicious drone activities.
“We’d like to know anything to do any suspicious drone activities near rural premises,” he said.
Inspector Dechene said that the above incidents continue to be investigated.
