The 12-member Junee Town Band took home a swag of five firsts and one second place.
Band director Keith Griffin said the win was helped by a ring-in French horn and trumpet player.
The performance pieces included a version of Paul McCartney’s Live and Let Die and a compilation of 1990s Broadway show tunes.

“We had a few extra instruments that I called in. It gave it a much fuller sound, makes it all just tighter.”
Acknowledging that this year’s wins have placed a target on the band’s heads, Mr Griffin said it can only lead to a good outcome.
“Strong but respectful rivalry really raises the standard for everyone, I think.”
Each year since the band began performing around the Riverina’s eisteddfods they have brought back a few trophies.
But this year, they can celebrate the victory with the Junee Community Choir, who took home the silver medal at Wagga’s eisteddfod on Friday September 7.
