THE Junee band and choir members have had a very busy time.
Band members once again travelled to Leeton to take part in the eisteddfod.
Playing in six sections and coming home with five first places and a second.
A fantastic result for the small but dedicated band.
The band also played at the Rotary markets which was an enjoyable morning.
The Junee choir members entered in the Wagga eisteddfod and come home with a second place, a brilliant effort for our small group seeing the competition they where up against.
The band and choir are preparing for the Junee show and the Leeton Band spectacular.
We are also planning a concert which will give our training band a chance to play with the band.
This will be a great experience for them and something to work for.
The band and choir would love and welcome new members.
If you would like to take on something new, if you have played an instrument no matter how long ago or what age you are why not give us a call.
Anyone interested in coming along to listen to a rehearsal to see if this could be something you would like to try, the training band are Monday 5pm, the choir Monday at 6pm and the main band Wednesday at 7pm.
For all inquiries regarding the band or choir you can contact me on 0413 305 753
The band will be holding their AGM on Wednesday, September 26 at 6pm at the Athenium.
All welcome.
