Landholders right across the region will be able to get their hands on up to 10 free trees next week when Riverina Local Land Services mark National Tree Day.
There are all sorts of varieties of paddock trees up for grabs, including grey boxes, white cypress pines, and river red gums.
Riverina Local Land Services manager Andrew Lieschke said landholders could use the trees to establish isolated paddock trees, infill planting in existing revegetation or restoration sites, or establish a small cluster planting.
"We would love to see farmers come and collect their trees and they can ask us any questions on other things while they're there,” Mr Lieschke said.
"There's no need to call beforehand, we will have plenty of stock available."
Landholders can visit Riverina Local Land Service’s Wagga site any day next week between 8:30am and 5pm to collect their trees.
